Create an ICS file for any event

How to use the file
Download it and open it. Apple Calendar and Outlook add the event straight away; Google Calendar on the web imports it from Settings, then Import and export. Or send the file as an email attachment and the recipient's calendar app will offer to add it. An .ics file is a snapshot. What is an .ics file?
A plain-text calendar file in the iCalendar format that every major calendar app can open. One file can hold one event or thousands. This tool writes a single event with an optional repeat rule and reminder.
Will the event update if I change it later?

Does it work in Outlook and Apple Calendar?
Yes. The file follows RFC 5545, the standard both use. Double-click it on a Mac to add it to Apple Calendar, or open it in Outlook. The add-to-calendar links cover the web versions of Google, Outlook.com, Office 365 and Yahoo.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The file and the links are built in your browser. Nothing you type leaves your device.
